How They Work

  • Wind-powered rotation: The turbine head spins when wind blows across it, creating a low-pressure zone at the top
  • Convective extraction: Hot air rises naturally (convection) and is pulled out through the turbine
  • Continuous operation: Works 24/7 without electricity, even with minimal wind
  • Air replacement: As hot air exits, fresh cooler air is drawn in through intake vents or louvers

  • Minimum roof pitch of 15 degrees recommended for optimal performance
